What's the difference between the 'tee' and 'beaucoup' sizes?
A tee sized meal is smaller than a beaucoup meal.  “Tee” sized meals are perfect for people with smaller appetites or for children.

When do you have live music?
Okra’s has live music every Friday and Saturday night either inside the restaurant or on Battle Street near the sidewalk café (weather permitting).  Please check the Events page of this website for updated band information.

Do you have beignets?
Beignets require careful preparation in order to be perfect.  Space and equipment limitations prevent Okra’s from being able to offer beignets at this time.

What is the 'holy trinity'?
The holy trinity refers to chopped onion, bell pepper and celery and is the base for many creole dishes.

When is happy hour?
Happy Hour is everyday from 3pm-6pm.  Drink and appetizer specials are available during Happy Hour.

When is the patio open?
The patio is open from May 1 - October 31 weather permitting.

Which holidays are you closed?
Okra’s is closed all day on the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  Occasionally, there may be special hours on other holidays.  Please check the Info page of this website for any updates on holiday hours.

How do I book a party?
Book a party at Okra’s by calling 703-330-2729 or by emailing parties@okras.com.  Our staff will guide you through the steps of securing the private party room

Do you take reservations?
Okra’s encourages you to call in advance if you plan to come in with a large party.  Please call 703-330-2729 if you wish to make a reservation.
